Busy Lives
Life has finally taken over. Things have gotten so busy that some days I just feel like I cannot keep up. This week is consumed with the girls dance recital. Finally we have made it to rehearsal day with the recital tomorrow. I will be very relieved to be finished with our extra curricular activities this year. Choir and hand bells end next week with the start of EOG's for Olivia Grace. The twins have finished their Kindergarten assessments and they both think they should just go on to 2nd grade. There are some things in life I want to hurry up and get through, but skipping grades is not one of them. I am sure they feel they are more prepared than they really are. Although I will have to say they are some pretty smart chickadees. I am not confident that my posting will keep up but I will try to post when I think of it for those family members that are far a way and don't get to see us.

Happy Labor Day
We have enjoyed a relaxing day at home. Ashley had to work but we got to cook out with friends yesterday. This afternoon the girls and I made chocolate chip cookies for snack. Sure made the house smell good.

So Clairebeth gets in the car after school on Monday and says "Moma, they didn't teach me how to read!"
I said "they will".
She said "when?"
She wants everything now, we have been telling the twins that they will learn how to read when they go to Kindergarten. I tried to explain that it is a process, that it takes more than one day, I don't think she's buying it.
She also was upset today that they didn't run in PE. Olivia Grace has been telling her that she will have to run. I think she is definitely on "go" when it comes to school.
Hope the teachers are ready for that little redhead, she has an agenda for when she returns.
Maggie Ray's teachers were shocked that she is "the shy one". She has entertained the class with a song and dance. I really wanted them separated so she could blossom and develop her own self. I think she is off to a wonderful start.
